Support for the new 2D renderer?
To use the new 2D lights in Unity you need LWRP and additionally the new 2D renderer. Docs are here: https://docs.unity3d.com/Packages/com.unity.render-pipelines.lightweight@6.7/manual/2d-index.html
It seems that Spine skeletons don't render images even with the new Spine LWRP lit shader.
I know the feature is new and experimental so it'd make sense you'd not support it yet. But do you have any plans for it?
Thanks for the info. We are aware of this, and yes, we are planning to support it in the future.
The feature is tracked on the roadmap via this issue ticket:
[unity] Support 2D Lights of Unity 2019.2 · #1413
I'd just like to throw in my hat with the people who would love to have 2D light support.
I was really excited to start messing around with it in 2019.2, but can't actually consider it for my main project without Spine support :/
Same here, any ETA about this feature?
Thanks for the interest in this feature, it is ranked very high on our priority list.
Unfortunately it depends heavily on higher priority bugfixes, so any ETA will be too unreliable, sorry.
Also have my thumbs up for this, been looking forward to this feature for a while now.
Just posting here so I can get notified.
