3.9.98 avilable?
Hello!
Today I discovered that an update has been released.
But my program is not updating.
I downloaded the program from the links, there is no result.
Hmm, if you set it to Latest
, click Save
, then restart Spine, does it still start 3.8.97? I just tried it on Windows 10 and it downloaded 3.8.98.
I see, thank you for the video. That's very strange, but I was able to reproduce the problem. We are working on fixing this ASAP. Until then you can specify the version by clicking Other...
, type 3.8.98
, click Save
, then restart Spine. Alternatively, you can run Spine from the command line using Spine -u 3.8.98
.
Many thanks! )
Launcher 3.8.97, is that correct?
In the new version of the program, when you click the "Minimize" button (top right) program freezes.
Mouse buttons do not work, Atl + Tab does not work either, exit from the application window is only Alt-Ctrl-Del.
Record a video file?
Yikes. No need for a video, I believe you, even though we haven't see that happen on any of the Windows computers we've tested on. Another user reported a problem with 3.8.98, so we'll probably revert the changes in a new 3.8 release. Sorry for the trouble!
Any idea what might be different for your computer that causes you to see the problem while we don't?
I don't know why this is happening.
Tell me where to send, I will send a report from AIDA64.
If it helps you.
Sure, it can't hurt to take a look. You can send to: contact@esotericsoftware.com
Thanks!
Let's track the issue with minimized in this thread, just so we don't have it in two places:
Spine non-responsive after Alt+Tab full-screened [3.8.98]
@DenisZ We've uploaded a new launcher. If you download and reinstall Spine you'll get launcher version 3.8.99, which will properly prompt for you to update when there is a new version. Sorry again for the trouble!
We have also prepared a 3.8.99 editor version. It is ready for use, but hasn't been released yet. Would you like to try it before we release? To do so, run Spine and in the settings dialog click Other...
and type 3.8.99
. Alternatively you can run from the command line like this:
spine -u 3.8.99
It would be great to hear from you that the minimize problem is fixed before we release it for everyone.
