The filter allows you to choose a timeline type. Translate, X, and Y are different timeline types. You can't see only X or only Y for a translate timeline because the X and Y keys are connected
changing the frame of a key on one also changes the frame of the other. If we hid one, the user may not realize they are making changes to the other, which could be confusing/disasterous.
