Yeah, this is a weird issue. Basically if you have images "Object1" and "Object2", and create bones attachments by dragging them into the editor window and creating bones, Spine will rename the Bone/Slot/Attachment of "Object1" to "Object" thoughout the hierarchy. Object2 will have Bone/ Slot/ Attachment hierarchy "Object2/ Object2/ Object" so when it comes to exporting and getting it into unity, will cough up the following error:
Error reading skeleton JSON file for skeleton data asset: [SKELETONDATA NAME]
Region not found in atlas: png_folder/Object (region)
Feels like it's a bug. Is there a reason for Spine to automatically be removing numbers from the ends of images? Because if it's just a style thing, I'd suggest it's better to generate bones/ slots with the full number-based path.
