I'm wondering if anyone has any helpful tips for how to communicate the desired distance over time speed for walk cycles/moving animations to Devs who are using Unity. The Devs I'm working with are overseas, there is a language barrier, and I have no access to the build (this is not ideal, obviously, but unfortunately I have no power to change that aspect of the situation). I asked them if they have some kind of unit they are using that I could use to base my numbers off of, they said "So the problem right now is that the game is actually in 3d...there's no way to give you an actual distance that is translatable." They would like me to just make them a visual guide, but we've tried that and it's really not a very reliable method, it hasn't worked very well so far. Any tips would be really appreciated, thanks!
