warmanw This feature is lost starting from 4.1 In animate mode, individual vertices that have been translated are shown in pink. Hold ctrl (cmd on Mac) and double click a vertex to select all the deformed or undeformed vertices.
Erika I just tested it, and yes, it looks like you need to hold Shift instead of Ctrl. I've updated the user guide to reflect the change, thank you!
Nate Shift does "loop selection", that probably made it seem like it was selecting all pink vertices, but it's not the same. I don't see a way to select them all, I'll dig into it.
