Frederick J I have recently been animating some enemies for my game using the tools in Spine such as IK constraints and Weighted meshes. My programmer asked me to change the directions of the enemies in spine as he was trying to save a step in unity for that. However once I was done and had flipped them and created the Atlas when he uploaded them to the game they some bones were backwards other meshes were distorted. Is there a way to fix this in either spine or unity? Also if it ends up being in Spine is there a way to save the animation versus having to restart again??? Your help would be greatly appreciated. If you need screenshots I could obtain them from my programmer if necessary. Regards, Frederick Heningburg
Mitch IK with FlipX is broken in certain cases across all runtimes. Blame Nate. The easiest / most reliable way to flip a character in Unity is to use either Scale X or Rotate Y on the object's Transform.
Frederick J Is there a way to fix it in spine so that it shows appropriately in unity and then they can flip it that way? Would I be able to save the animations or would it be just starting over??? Is there a way to prevent the IK's from getting distorted in unity? does it matter how many bones are attached to the IK's and weighted meshes to prevent distortion?
