Hello!

I thought it would be better to create a new topic instead of necro'ing this thread:
http://esotericsoftware.com/forum/Unity-Attaching-a-Unity-sprite-always-makes-it-rotated-4734

But my question is, was this issue ever officially fixed or looked at? Hard setting the rotation to -90 still "works", but feels hacky to me (since I would think it would've been handled automatically).

My new attachments are also scaled wrongly, but that could easily be something on my side cause I'm just messing around with some purchased spine projects/animations, and I might have fudged some of the scaling consistencies up across the animations.

Thanks!

Ok so I made an entirely new project, and just messed with the Spine animations from the runtime folder, and looks like the rotations and scale is correct. So it's obviously something to do with the assets that I bought and how I'm trying to adapt it to my project. Basically just floundering through till I get it to work as I would like it to. Fun weekend over here! 🙂 🙁

It might be that your assets are from Spine 2 and need to be converted to Spine 3.

Hmm... I'll check. It's a pack that I purchased, so it's possible. Is there an easy way to convert it? What does the process entail?

You can just export your JSON or binary data from the Spine project file.
