I just recently tried putting in some new and more polished animations into Unity so I can get them into my game. The importing process seemed to work absolutely fine, In the skeleton data I can see all my animations and even preview them within the asset folders.
However after setting up the animation controller they refuse to link to each other within the game, I have the latest runtimes imported so I can't think of anything else that I've done and the animations worked before so there must be a step that I've forgotten. Would appreciate it if somebody could point me towards what I've done wrong, the animation controller definitely has the states linked to the animations themselves but you can see in the transitions that in the preview window they don't play at all.
The only time the animations do play in game is if I use the drop down menu from the skeletonanimation script and select it from there, but obviously, that's no good for a game.

Nevermind! Classic case of posting and then fixing it myself.
What had happened was that I just made a standard game object instead of right clicking on the skeleton data and instantiating it instead, it all works now, yey!
