Nate If you mean the background color of the selected bone in the dopesheet, it can't be too bright because you need to be able to see the stuff on top of it. Can you show a screenshot so it's clear what you have a problem distinguishing?
nimbling Yes, here! When using a locked set of bones, I'd like an extra hue-difference between the selected and all other bones. 🙂
