Ripple Effect in Spine

Hi guys, can this kind of ripple effects be achieved in Spine and how would you go about doing it?

We are trying to add some kinds of "special effects" as such for static background images and wonder what other effects can be achieved with Spine.

You could try to reproduce it with a free form deformation mesh in Spine, however, it might be easier to use a custom shader in whatever engine you are using. I can try to give some hints if you tell me what engine you are using.

Agreed. This effect in particular is much simpler, prettier and more performant with shader code than animating meshes of it in Spine.
