I'm debating purchasing Spine... I can see it's a very powerful tool... but I don't code... I do have Playmaker, though.
I've done some searching around and have found some people are using Playmaker to change animations and apparantely with some success... but everything is quite dated.... and scattered about... actions being shared here... actions being shared there.. I'm not even sure which work and which don't or how to use some of them... especially for blending (shooting while running, etc.)
Is there anyone here finding success with certain Playmaker actions to blend animations?

Are there scripts I could get access to that would already be all set up for that?
Right now I'm working on a runner / shooter (no character controller just a capsule collider 2d and rigidbody 2d with Playmaker action "move towards", it's not a platformer so i don't need the controller functionality) where the character changes abilities every few levels, so I'm needing a solution that would blend these new abilities with the run or shoot at the same time... All I really want to achieve is character runs... push the button and the character shoots while running without showing a hitch towards a new animations... this seems to be a feature of spine... but I don't know how to code...
Can anyone point me in the right direction? Anyone using Playmaker? Anyone have scripts I can just drag and drop on canvas buttons to blend animations?
I'm not even sure if I'm asking the right questions... I'm new to Spine... I have played with the Unity package... but lack of experience with Spine limits my knowledge of asking the right questions...
