Setting .png and Video Export Resolution

Still using the Trial version, I don't seem to be able to find a means for setting the export resolution for a .png sequence or Video file. I realize I can't save such files - but I should be able to see the option, if it exists.

Is there some way to do this?

To clarify my question: giving the example of the "Stretchyman" - as he walks under the influence of IK, he is progressing across the screen. Let's say he walks 12 paces, how far, in pixels, did he walk? If I wish to animate him walking a total of 2400 pixels, how do I know the bounds of my total animation? How do I set the dimensions of my total animation for export to a file with those same dimensions?

Spine will export at the maximum possible resolution unless you choose the atlas option, you will be able to set the scale there.

The "Atlas" checkbox is only available for the .png export option, not for QuickTime. Telling me that the resolution for exporting to a QuickTime movie is the "maximum possible resolution" doesn't really give me a picture of what that will look like, in advance of exporting.

In the case that I want to produce a QuickTime video at the resolution of 1024 x 768, how can I arrange this in advance? Is there a mechanism for doing this?

There is no practical example given in the User Guide that addresses this question - so directing me there doesn't help to answer my question.

Since it makes no sense to use an atlas for setting the output size/resolution of a Quicktime or AVI movie, there should be another utility to accomplish this.

Does Spine have a setting, a dialog, a place to enter the output resolution for Quicktime or AVI movies?

I am using the Demo version of Spine, so I cannot actually get as far as pressing the "Export" button (within the Quicktime or AVI dialog) - since it is greyed out.

Please, won't you answer my question? Be a good sport.

The PNG and video exports use the maximum bounding box of your animation as defined by the locations and bounds of attachments in your skeleton. There is currently no option to specify the output resolution, but it is a planned feature.

Note a workaround for now is to use a transparent image which is as large as or larger than the maximal bounds of your animation to force a particular export resolution. For PNG sequences this can be helpful to make the skeleton position relative to the corners of the PNG consistent across multiple animations. Texture packing can be used to trim the extra whitespace around each frame.
