As you said, I'm afraid multi-track animation export is not supported yet.
As for Rescue Time, I see what I can do, but it's likely that Rescue Time does something not so nice to hook into the app life-cycle for monitoring. I'm afraid I can't make a promise that this is fixable on our end. Maybe you could also contact the Rescue Time developers? We'd be happy to work with them to resolve this!
